Its supposed to help the artritis. All I know is I re injured my knee & going back to the surg office to see if I can get another lidocaine shot.( 7 hrs of relief_ too bad couldnt get them all the time) They said last time they said a lubricant injection might help. I am so tired of the pain & the surg helped somewhat but he said I will need a knee replacement in a few years. I am absolutely terrified of having another surg(had 3 past 18 mo)

" Have you tried using heat wraps? I saw some advertised and plan to get them for my BIL who is in the same boat as you. I would avoid surgery at all costs, but that is just me. "

" I would ask for more details and research all I could about it. It sounds a bit unusual, so I'd want to know exactly what it's called, what it's made of, how it's administered, how long it lasts, success rates not only for the injections but also for the doctor (what kind of experience does he have...are you going to be his first patient, which I would NOT want to be?), etc. And do your own research, don't just rely on what the doctor tells you.

Good luck! "
