Has anyone out there suffered from chronic pain after taking a course of Accutane for acne? My son is nine months out from the treatment and can barely walk around campus to attend his classes.

" accutane has many, possible devestating side effects. the u.s. army used to mandate it use for soldiers with severe acne, but have since stopped due to an incredible amount of suicides related to it's use. do some diligent research online, and ask another doctor about it, as the one who prescribed or administered it is obviously biased in favor of the drug. " i was on roaccutane. two tablets per day for a few months. i was in alot of pain and i could not turn my head properly... so i lowered my dose to one tablet per day, and that became barable.
unfortunately i cant remember how quickly the pain went after coming off it...
i do not know about possible side effects of the drug as it's been years, but does it say anywhere about bones wearing thin ?? or anything ? then i would get the tests done to check everything ...

xx "

" Poor thing - he's just starting that journey of tests - but he's young - we have to solve this. "

" He is being cared for at the Cleveland Clinic. If any place can help him - they will! "
