I was in pain that took 180mg of morphine a day to cover up. The 3rd day of NeuroCranial restructuring treatment ended that pain. I still have about 1% of it left, which is nothing by comparison.
Spine, Head, Pelvis and Nerve impingment disorders really respond to this treatment. I am living proof of it's power. One other member here has a similar story now, just ask Lou22. More info on my group at http://www.dailystrength.org/group... A plus- we just had a doctor join our group so you can ask detailed questions. Posted on 07/01/09, 08:07 am |

Be very, very wary of NCR. Before any of you go running to get this done, research it, Google it, and get the information that you need, not only from the Doctor's or Naturopaths that do this procedure, but also read the stories of people that had their nasal septum fractured during the process of this NCR procedure and the ones that were in ICU for weeks because they almost died getting this procedure done.
Below find just a paragraph of one of the many articles that I found in the internet......... read it and think about it.... There is no published scientific evidence or logical reason to believe that NCR is effective for treating any of the conditions for which it is recommended. There is no reason to believe that the sphenoid bone can be safely manipulated or that moving it would provide health benefits. In addition, although few complications have been reported, there is good reason to believe that it can be harmful. In 1983, during treatment with Bilateral Nasal Specific (a variant in which a finger cot is used as the balloon), a Canadian baby was asphyxiated after the finger cot slipped off the syringe on which it was mounted and lodged in the child's windpipe. The practitioner was found guilty of manslaughter, fined $1,000, and ordered to stop using BNS [5]. A case has reported of a 51-year-old woman who sustained fractures in two sectors of her nasal septum (the bone between the nostrils) during an NCR treatment in which balloons were inflated inside her nostrils. During the procedure, the patient heard a crunching sound and experienced severe midface pain accompanied by nosebleed. Surgery was required to reposition her nasal septum. The authors noted that if the balloons had been placed more deeply into the nose, disastrous complications could have occurred [6]. The Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners has concluded that Nasal Specific Treatment is within chiropractic's scope as defined by state law. In 2001, the board stated: Nasal Specific Treatment appears to be a correction of the cranial bones and, as such, appears to meet the criteria of being within the scope of practice of a Texas licensed chiropractor. Please be advised that Occupations Code, 201.502 states that it is ground for refusing, revoking, or suspending a license for "failure to use proper diligence in the practice of chiropractic." In other words, the Board expects a licensee to be properly trained in any technique that the licensee uses on a patient. [7]. The board did not specify how one can get "proper training" in an improper procedure.

Tipper, before you go scaring people too much. I researched all that before my procedure. The nasal septum fracture case is mentioned in several spine surgeon and skeptic websites, but if you look, they all point to the same case. NCR has been around 15 years - and I can only find 2 cases of negative outcome on the web. The baby was Bilateral Specific method, which NCR is a great improvemt on.
I also had a member here once tell me it was scary to him, but I found it tolerable, and after such success, find no discomfort at all in it. Lets not blow this out of proportion and make a comparison. Consider spine surgery, how many cases of spine surgery result in negative outcomes, even paralysis and death? When you say stories of people (plural), i can only find that single case online, though I'm certian other patients have had negatrive results. it's not invasive like surgery, and for me has been a breeze to tolerate. You'll find several negative stories about it, but those of us who have tried it know better. Ask Lou22, a member here who recently had her 3rd series and 3rd time was the charm for her. The first 2 brought her temporary relief but the 3rd has now lasted 2 months. My relief has so far lasted 2 1/2 years and i feel much better than when i was on 180mg morphine a day. All any skeptic has to do is publish their opinion, as in the one you cite, I think from quackwatc.com and then it becomes 'fact' for some readers, especially if your prone to be skeptical. Believe me, i think there's lot of snake oil out here, but the way NCR is explained on the site is exactly how it worked for me. My relief was equivalent to what one might expect from sucessful surgery and it was done with a small balloon. I thought I was in pain for life, for mine was intractable, constant and only strong doses of opioid (oxycontin, morphine) could reduce it. After 3 days of NCR treatment, it was gone. I was in pain for 12 years, the last 5 were very life-destructive and ncr was around for over 10 years at the time. My mission here is to save someone else those 5 years. You have to do what you choose, but please look at both sides, view NCR videos on You Tube, call an NCR doctor and discuss your symptoms, research both sides, but if you see a single case referred to on many sites, remember, it's still a single case.
