I feel like crap this morning and I'm waiting for Habitat for Humanity to come and get the sofa that's rested in our bedroom since my husband moved into this apt. in September. It wouldn't, or couldn't, make the turn into the living room, so there it's sat since then. So my bureau is in the kitchen because there's no room for it in the bedroom. It's a convoluted story that I won't get into anymore. I think I'm running a fever and my head aches. I feel like it's the start of a lupus flare. I haven't had one in a while but it sure feels like it's coming on. My son has 3 more days of school and then no getting up at 6:30a to get him to the bus. But I'm so used to taking my morning meds around 7am that I'll probably be awake early anyway. So fill in the rest of the sentence if you feel like crap! Sandy Posted on 06/20/12, 10:27 am |

i usually feel better by this time, but i feel like and barely did sleep.
i've been sleeping on the sofa now b/c the AC is better and it's quieter and better for my hip...not last night, everything ached, a neighbor rang my buzzer, another knocked on my door at some point...i had stress dreams about 20 times, got up for meds and cream, saw roaches. i'm clean. hate those boogers having a party in my kitchen. the only thing out is penny's food...just overwhelmed and achy and want a good day at home fighting the heat. sandy, i hope you're not getting a flare. i'm trying hard not to think about this get going. whew, hope it helps to get that out!

i empathsize, so i understand, i only feel good about 1 percent of the time so i know what it's like to feel crappy. My late aa sponsor had lupus and he had very few good days the last 10 years as his flares got more and more frequent Good luck, God bless. HUGS, mIKEY

the meds aren't working today.
I have been distracting myself from pain with visitors and crochet but today I am worn out at tired. Sandy, I hope you are not getting a flare up, I am sending positive thoughts your way and a ton of love. :) Serenity, I hope the day improves and the house gets cooler. :)

I hope this finds you feeling better. The heat is only supposed to get worse today and tomorrow. The only room in our apt. with a/c is our bedroom, so I expect to have visitors all day (and night). Those pesky cockroaches live no matter how clean you are. I once had one so big in my apt. that it scared my cat to death. They are so hard to get rid of. I feel for you my sister..... Sandy

in PR there were huge, flying ones! so i just keep a bottle of bleach water on the counter and spray those little suckers! thanks! sorry that the pain and heat is so intense for so many. i just have the fan pointed at me. can't afford to run it all day. hoping for relief for everyone!

A little off topic, but....
When I lived in south Fla.. we'd have those darned flying cockroaches. When I worked at a hospital on the St.Lucie river, we'd sit outside by the river to have our coffee breaks. But those pesky flying cockroaches would fall from the rafters of the little overhangs and scare the bejeebers out of me everytime. It's something you can NEVER get used to.... I hope the heat doesn't get the best of anyone! Sandy

Still hurting .... NOT looking forward to a shower today. Yesterday morning the toe was still pretty numb. Wonder if I can keep it up out of the pounding water so it does not get beat up as much.
MIght have to take a couple BT before the shower today.

Sorry you are feeling so crappy Sandy. I appreciate your humor and this exercise. :)
I feel like crap and... I was in a car accident Sunday (people & animals are OK, car not so much) My Mum fell and hurt herself playing basket ball. Sorry Mum, but are you insane? She is 74! My sister had her identity stolen and her bank account drained. My mate got a celluloses infection from a mosquito bite and could have died without antibiotics. I feel like I am living in a bad comedy! Murphy's law is doing fine & well in NY. Thank the Gods for antibiotics! And for not all dying in a car accident! And for not killing my Mum playing basket ball! "Kiss me Hardy!" Happy Summer! :D
