Just found out I have arthritis in my spine, knees and have fibromyalgia - Screw the pain, I'm still going camping in AZ this summer!
I'll be in AZ from the 6th until the 18th of July visiting my dad and grandmother! My dad said he and I are going to go camping again! It's been years since we've gone. I'm so excited. Anyone else have summer vacation plans? Or staycation plans?! Posted on 06/16/12, 06:48 pm |

We may be going to the Grand Canyon this summer. It's still in the planning stage.
We'll probably be spending a lot of time at my brother-in-law's house on the Jersey shore. A cheap and easy way to spend the hot days of summer. I also would like to talk to my husband about going to Niagra Falls. Neither of us has been there. It looks spectacular! I hope you have a great time camping in the desert! Sandy

Sandy, I have been all of the places you wish to go this summer! They are all wonderful. I live about 15-20 mins away from the Falls. And the Grand Canon is about an hour away from my dad's house.
It won't be camping in the desert, but in the mountains of Northern Arizona! Also, my dad and I might go to Vegas!

My pain and illness are just at a place where plans tend to fall through...so living more moment to moment for now. Hugs...jc

i'm hoping a good friend will be able to come visit and we'll be able to go to nashville. she's never been down south! used to love camping and white water rafting...not quite in my skill limits any more. look forward to photos and stories!!
