Well, I've started on some supplements as recomended by some of you.
This is what I'm doing so far:
Calcium, Vit.D
Krill Oil
Lipo-Flavonoid (for ringing in the ears) which has in it:
Vitamin C
Vitamin B1 (thiamine)
Vitamin B2
Niacin
Vitamin B6
Vitamin B12
Pantothenic Acid
Calcium
Buflavonoids (Huh???)
Imostol (what???)
I have a little research to do on the Lipo-Flavonoid but I do hope it helps the ringing in the ears because it drives me crazy!)

Anything else you recommend?
Thanks!
Sandy

" If you have any sort of arthritis or joint pain, tendon, connective tissue issues, try a glusosamin and condroitin (google can spell that). I tried several till I figured out the brand that works for me. One month of those will either help or do nothing.

Recent research shows that twice the RDA is necessary before results can show. "

" i worked for 4 years in a health food store and woudl be interested in some of the brand you have.
From waht i know and learned good qualtiy supplements can NOt be cheap. If theya re cheap they are filled with fillers and your wasting your money. I use to have a whole store of supplemtns free for the using but you cant take all that. You have to be smart. I will not compromize on my multi. It has fish oil in it. It is made by a company called Platinium and is second to none i ahve ever found or tried. It is a Canadian company but i last heard they were branching out into Walgreens in the US. The one i buy is geared to my age over 50. I like that it is a soft gel.
Now with calcium you must be very careful they are not created equal. And depending on age you have to be specific in which one to take. I use calcium citrate (most absorable) and it has to have magnesium in it. DOnt be fooled by calium wihtout the magnesium they need eachother to work.
As far as vitamin C the best is Ester C. Ascobic Acid is awful and bad for the body and that is why is is so cheap. Makes the body more acidy.
Viamin D is essential. I also take extra COqu10 it is effective preventative for migraines. I also keep extra magnesium for when my muscles are very sore or for constipation. A lot fo peopl are deficint in magnesium.
Krill ouil is the best fish oil from studies and the cleanest. "

" Thank you for the suggestions so far. I need to add Magnesium to the pile; I do take calcium citrate. And I will research the glucosamine/chondroitin.
As for Vitamin C, I don't think I should take it because I have IC and must stay away from acidic foods or my bladder goes haywire. I think that the Vitamin C would do this as well (just a guess on my part).

Thanks again!

" Hi Sis,
Yes, krill oil is an Omega-3 supplement. In fact, the Nature's Bounty label on the bottle says "Krill Oil- Omega 3" on it. But I'll have to do some research as to what is different about Krill oil and regular Omega-3s. I'm not sure.....
