I have chronic 24/7 pain. This came from a C-2 fx (broken neck) and TBI, from a car accident 4 yrs ago. I am 33yo. My pain specialist will not give me anything any stronger, than Hydrocodone for my chronic neck pain. Even though he knows this is not effective, because it is nerve pain. He says," I am too young to be on anything any stronger." I have been seeing him for about a year and this continues and so does my daily severe pain. He has done several nerve blocks, that have been ineffective for any length of time. Should I see a different pain specialist? I really don't know what to do, but I can not continue to go on with this kind of pain daily!
