" I don't know of drs in Ohio, but if you look at ratemds.com there is very useful info on there. Patient comments about how they were treated by the dr, ect ect. Just check it out it may help you. I hope you get your pain treated soon. That's too bad your having to suffer like this. Didn't you have an appt last week? If so how'd that go?

" Yes I did have an apt with my pcp. He said there was too much damage in my back and he couldn't treat me, gave me a referal. He gave me a muscle relaxer and that's it. That was on Friday, I'm trying to get to the spine surgeon as soon as possible but my pcp's office says they will contact the surgeon and schedule the appt for me. Well god knows when that will be. I'm just so frustrated that I've been in pain for years and now that I have the MRI to prove it I still can't find a Dr. to get me out of pain. "

" Go in the internet and do a Google search for an Orthopedic surgeon that specializes in spines in your area or a Neurosurgeon. For pain, you need to find a Pain Management Doctor. Ortho's and NS's don't like to prescribe pain meds unless is after surgery, so try to find a pain management Doctor first and then go for the fix with an Ortho or a Neurosurgeon. "
