I've had to deal with daily headaches and migrains for 22 years, ever since I was 12. You would think it had something to go with my cycle. It never did. I had them every stinking day. I am in so much pain every day I can not live another day like this. I've seen several Neurologist throughout my years. Nothing has helped. My Neurologist right now is giving up on me and is referring me to the University of Washington which is 2 hours away and I have to drive over the pass. I have sticked out on all of the meds that she has given me. I either have bad reactions from them or they just don't touch the headache. The only thing that helps a little is when my husband scratched my head. All I want to do is lay in bed and never leave. And I have 5 kids to take care of. I feel like such a terrible Mom. I've ruled out foods and smells, and it's not food that causes it. So I am so confused. And so frustrated and exhausted with hitting dead ends. Does anyone have any suggestions for me. Please help me. I can't get over the suicide thoughts. I would rather be pain free than living and continuing living like this. Please desperately seeking help.

ask your husband to grow out his nails? I am just joking, but that suggests to me perhaps it is muscular too. Have you ever tried wholistic massage. I use to do it once a week until I couldn't afford it anymore......but it was wonderful. I am not saying all muscular but it will help relieve the stress and hopefully give you a little relief. I have had headaches off and on since I was 17, stress related. Hope you find the answer, don't give up, I know the pain is horrible, and wish I could offer more help. If you need to talk....we're here.

look in your yellow pages for wholistic or holistic massage, they are familar with techiniques for chronic pain. I know it sounds expensive, but not when you put it in perspective...........it was sure worth the cost to me in relation to pain relief.

First of all, holy crap. You must be tough as nails, and my heart truly goes out to you. How did you have five kids with daily migraines?? Please, I know precisely what you are thinking, but before giving in try one more thing: Call 708-848-7789. This place offers treatments that nobody else does - stuff that you've probably never heard of and can potentially cure you. Tell the receptionist that you must speak to a nurse. Tell the nurse about your migraines, and ask the nurse if they think any of their treatments are applicable to your situation. If she thinks they can help, ask the nurse if you can have a phone consultation with the doctor and go from there. God Speed With lots of caring and understanding, Orchid

Have you ever tried acupuncture? I work in an office with a skilled acupuncturist and I've seen so many people with headaches have great results. But the acupuncturist must be a good one, a skilled and knowledgeable one. Check their credentials before you go... I hope you find relief soon!!!
Much love, Lisa

Hey Sweetie, I can feel your pain. I suffered a head injury in a fall at work in 1995. I had nothing ti break the fall and landed backwards on my head on a tile floor. I have low back pain, but nothing is as bad as the pain in my neck and head. I too thought I just can't take it anymore. Well then I found a GREAT chiropractor. The relief was immediate. I had always been afraid of chiropractic, but I was desparate. She is in the next town over about 20 miles away. So I had one recommended by my PH Doc who was here in town. Forget it. I actually had worse and more frequent head pain. So I just saw my fave one on Monday, and by gosh SHE IS the BEST! I have occipital neuralgia and my cervical instead of looking like a C, its totally backwards. I also have spondylosis in my cervical. Alot of PM Doc don't believe in chiro. but mine believes that if it helps then go for it. Also I take Fioricet for the head pain.. My other pain meds do nothing, not even Soma. So I hope this has helped. Knowledge is power. Good Luck in your search for relief! OH and a HOT shower helps too, as hot as you can stand it. I used to have a jacuzzi, but my ex crackhead loser husband made sure he screwed that up. I had to move and get my own place. Hugs and Love, Deb

have you ever had a lumbar puncture to measure the level of fluid or pressure in your brain? I had/have daily migraine pain, too, and mine is from high intracranial pressure, also called psuedotumor cerebri. There are other drugs and treatments different from migraine drugs and treatments for it.
