" Loss of color is a normal side effect of Gleevec. It doesn't come back, in my experience. You will need to be more careful about using sunscreen. "

" Does it get worse? Does your skin become lighter and lighter as you continue to take glevec? "

" Gleevec made me more orange than fair.
My color was fair, and now I look like tanned.
My doctor changed me to Sprycel, and surprinsingly I am a little lighter.
I suppose it is because I am feeling better, and I have less side effects than with Gleevec.

" My skin is much lighter and kind of transparent looking after almost 14 months on Gleevec. It hasn't seemed to changed much in the color for the past several months though, so maybe the change in color doesn't continue. Who knows! Best to you! "
