I joined two online forums seeking support for my CLL about 2 weeks ago - this one and and the Talk Blood Cancer CLL - and I made a few posts.
I have checked back several times and even tonight my posts are still the most recent ones. I may be mistaken, but I have refreshed my browser page and I think it is the case. I conclude this forum is not what I would call interactive. There is a lot of valuable and useful information here, but I am pretty much reading documents online written by persons anonymous, not making any personal connection. I then visited and joined another online group - CLL forum. Now the reason I think that CLL forum is working is that people are communicating. best wishes gary Posted on 03/31/09, 10:03 am |

Hi Artsense
Got the reply! I was away last week camping enjoying the bush and wonderful autumn weather. Interesting you mention fungus - golly what a yukky topic - I have had a red rash on my chest at times - i hadn't thought of cll and it went immediately with a bit of canestan Someone commented to me in anotehr site, the trouble with CLl is that every tiny thing you would otherwise ignore you think it is CLL related. My strategy is to do everything possible spritually, emnotionally and physically to be healthy and happy - so far so good. best wishes Gary

Hi everyone...just joining....my husband was just diagnosed a couple months ago, is stage 0. We have two little kids. He did not allow me to go to the doc with him or tell anyone, so I feel left out, but I want to help and I also need the emotional support and information. So here I am. Thanks for reading my ramblings...
Be well C.
