Ok ... this is Day Two of 100 mg. 3x a day. Does/did anyone else get HORRIBLE heartburn from this? Does it abate or carry on throughout the treatment?

Hi Ruth--I did the doxy thing many years ago when i first got sick. I don't remember any heartburn or bad side effects at all. Maybe you should ask your doctor?

Then look at the side effects. It appears that you could an "upset stomach" while taking this medication. You just might need to eat prior to taking this med or take a med like Prilosec. Ask your Dr. he can help you. I hope this helps. Just remember that not every person will get every side effect that is listed:) I used to work in Pharmaceutical Research prior to getting sick.
