Press release of the German Professional Association of Environmental Medicine (Deutscher Berufsverband der Umweltmediziner – DBU) from 26. October 2009 Swine flu vaccine is unsuitable for patients with environmental diseases and other chronic multi-system illnesses. Pandemrix® poses substantial health risk with respect to mass immunization programs due to the lack of proof of safety. Because of the producer’s release from liability by the German Federal Government (BRD), the risk of adverse reactions and/or permanent damage due to the vaccine rests with the patient. The German Professional Association of Environmental Medicine (DBU) has, in spite of press releases from the BRD, the Paul-Ehrlich-Institute, as well as the vaccine producer’s assurances of safety, serious concerns relating to Pandemrix® (GlaxoSmithKline), the only vaccine which has been approved for mass vaccination by the BRD. The DBU discusses at this point neither the medical use of immunization in general nor the necessity of such measures in the, up until now, mild course of the swine flu pandemic. Our criticism is directed only against the pandemic vaccine Pandemrix®. There exists considerable doubt as to the effectiveness of the vaccine: during the licensing phase, the vaccine tested had a 40% higher portion of virus antigen (5. 25µg) than the vaccine (3.75µg) now being delivered. An unequivocal consensus has not been reached as to whether the vaccination should be given once or twice a season !!! There exists considerable doubt concerning the safety of the adjuvanted active amplifier since it is being used for the first time. The vaccine contains 27.4mg AS03, an emulsion of polysorbate, squalene and tocopherol. Sufficient studies are lacking, because in the test phase, only the development of antibody titers was determined as a surrogate criterion, and not any potential adverse reactions. The producer as well as government agencies have concealed the fact that squalene, if used subcutaneously or intramuscularly is an inflammatory immune activation immunogen, unlike when ingested. (Squalene is, among other things, for example, naturally contained in olive oil.) Autoimmune diseases can be provoked by squalene; already existing ones can be activated. Squalene has been connected with the emergence of Guillan-Barré Syndrome (GBS) and is now considered a trigger for Gulf War Syndrome (GWS). In animal studies squalene brought on rheumatoid arthritis. Squalene from food sources is mainly incorporated into membranes in the body. The production of squaline antibodies resulting from an immunization sets off chronic inflammation of the membranes, which explains diseases such as Gulf War Syndrome and also degenerative neurological diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy and Guillan-Barré Syndrome. The delivery of vaccine in multiple dose ampules is obsolete. In single dose ampules the mercury used for preservation, as in thimerosal – which is included in Pandemrix – would be unnecessary. Also, mercury has been proven to set off autoimmune diseases. Since the vaccine has not been tested on either young children or pregnant women (Ethics Commission objection), the call to give preference in the first phase of vaccination to precisely this particularly endangered segment of the population represents an improper and totally unjustifiable field test. The vaccine poses a higher risk than the swine flu itself for patients with environmental illness and for patients with compromised immune systems (e.g. AIDS). The vaccine producer GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), according to the contract with the BRD, is largely exempt from liability. In case of damage from the vaccination, the affected vaccinee would have to sue the government and therefore the country of Germany, usually a futile exercise. To avoid the trap of liability, the doctor giving the vaccination must meticulously inform the patient of all risks concerning the vaccination and the vaccine. It is recommended to give this information in the presence of an assistant and to have it be confirmed by the patient’s signature. The explanation should also include the liability features. Also the indication that other, lower risk vaccines are available in Europe and that due to a faulty decision by the German government, they are currently not available to the German population. This information should definitely be included in the explanation. For general and environmental health considerations the DBU urgently advises against carrying out a vaccination with Pandemrix® ! i'm still probably going to get it... i took a risk with the seasonal and did fine with it... actually felt mildly better for the week after if you can believe it. i dont know if the vaccine will even be terrificly effective given all the findings.
I have however been taking 4000IU/day of Vitamin D, am drinking my Kefir, and taking N-Acetyl-Cysteine daily to help reduce my risk of whatever is out ther.

Well, I think I had the swine flu already, complete with subsequent lung infection. It wasn't fun but it also wasn't the worst flu I've ever experienced.
I wouldn't get that shot either way. The media hype is just that. They're freaking out over fewer than 100 children dying from H1N1 but over 1500 children die in the U.S. every year from muder or suicide and another >1500 die from accidental deaths. Children under age 14 committing suicide? I think that's something to be freaked out about.

As someone who has been diagnosed via the Global standard, Melisa heavy metal test as having CFS and GWS from mercury poisening from Thiomersal (Thiomersal 1,Thiomersal 2 and Thiomersal 3) with the added vulnerability of Squalene poisening when it is injected directly into the blood system then I concider it ludicrous for any CFS suffere to go near Swine flu vaccine wWITHOUT FIRST GETTING THE MELISA HEAVY METAL TEST DONE. Swine flu vaccine in a single dose vial contains @25 micrograms of mercury in the form of thiomersal, a shot from a multidose vial can contain as much as 200 micrograms of mercury in the form of thiomersal. Squalene and mercury seem to be fine when contained inside the gastro intestinal tract however if either breech the GI tract through ulcers or leaky gut or are directly injected into the blood stream then they alone can cause the tipping point of the balance between Th1 and Th2. When this happens its diabolical.
PLEASE get Melisa Heavy Metal test done first. If you are allergic to mercury (thiomersal) and dont know it, the Swine flu vaccine could well cripple you and put you in bed for months. My Nutritionalist who is a trained toxicologist spoke with one of Australias leading Immunologists just as the Mexican swine flue scare was being pumped via the media into the western world. Dont get me wrong, I feel very sorry for anone who has lost family through the swine flue virus but the evidance of those who died from swine flue is that it kills those who are long term mal-nurished, the elderly (who's immune systems are failing and infants whos immune systems havn't developed). The immunologist remarked isnt it interesting that they have found a statistically weak virus to market the use of the massive global stockpile of Tamaflue that was due to expire 2010 post the Asian Bird Flue Scare. If you do a bit of digging regarding the H1N1 09 you will find that its very similar to the Spanish Flue H1N1 from 1919. The history of statistical history of Spanish Flue H1N1 from 1919 show large numbers of people dieing but scratch the surface and you will disccover that it hasd its epicenter in mal nourished nations post WW1 allong with return service personell from WW1 who were mal nourished. In Australia the Royal Exerbition Building was for three years the Spanish Flue Hospital, incidently not one Doctor not one Nurse not one Medical Orderly not one Surgeon performing autopsies not one Mortuary attendant and not one grave digger died of the Spanish Flue H1N1 from 1919. Why? Its simple tey were all well nourished because they were employed and could afford two good meals per day. Interesting isn't it. The Pharmicutical industrial complex is just as corrupt as those responsible for the deregulation that lead to the global financial crisis and the sorry thing is that the Politicians we elect are just their puppets.

They're referring to a vaccine that is available in Germany.
Here are the U.S. H1N1 vaccines' manufacturers and ingredients: http://www.fda.gov/BiologicsBloodV... There are no adjuvants such as squalene. People with certain diseases like asthma or HIV would benefit from the vaccine because they are more likely to have complications from swine flu. The mechanism of illness in CFS is not known so claims about whether vaccination is helpful or detrimental really can't be substantiated. The objection to squalene comes from studies involving mice and rats, but, it has been shown to be safe in people in European studies. One showed that people who received injected adjuvant had the same amount of squalene antibodies as those who did not. Show me a Thiomersal free Swine flue vaccine.
They arn't on the market yet. There are only three vaccine manufacturers, the CSL Australian one , the German one from Glaxo-Klien and the Canadian one. Dont be swept up in the hype and hysteria. Eat a well balanced diet (ancestoral diet is the best for your own immune system) and get rest. xRobinx your right that "People with certain diseases like asthma or HIV would benefit from the vaccine because they are more likely to have complications from swine flu" but people with CFS should have the Melisa heavy metal test first as its between 10% and 25% of CFSers that are triggered by heavy metal toxicity. Safe is better than sorry. Just read what I have gone through with heavy metal poisening (vaccination induced)which induced CFS. xRobinx have you ever wondered why Southern Blue fin Tuna gets between $3000 and $60000 in Japan? Its because its the most mercury free pelagic fish on the planet. Even then I dont eat Tuna or imported Sword Fish, sushimi, sushi or even sea weed which can also concentrate heavey metals.

Also on top of what Al said some people may even get the Melisa Heavy Metal test done and not be allergic to Mercury but there is a possibility that after receiving the shot it can sensitize you to Mercury, therefore making you allergic. All heavy metals are ridiculously scary and something people with any immune disorder should fear. Having complications from the flu aren't worth a neurological disorder for life. People don't realize the Mercury from the shot WILL stay in your body and most likely cause problems later in life for you.

Thats an easy question to answer, If I were single with my CFS and GWS that I currently suffer I would already be dead due to the intollerable disability and pain but seeings I have a family my wife and kids I cant take my own life. You see twenty six years ago one of my close school friends took his own life and I witnessed first hand the heartbreak and pain that causes. For the first 3 years of CFS (not knowing it was GWS) I wished I was dead many times and I'm not a wimp. Have you skied 60 km endurance races in -20 Deg C, Have you rowed in competition, Have you played heavy duty contact sport for 10 years, have you learned to walk three times in your life (post major injury) have you graduated from Basic and Specialist training in the Army, have you sailed Ocean races in winter, have you had surgery 8 times, have you been hospitalized from pneumonia 3 times and lost 12 kilograms overnight. If you can answer yes to any of these then you may have experianced pain but the continuous pain I have experianced over the last 6 years makes the pain that my sState sprints coach and the physical conditioning Instructor at Basic training Army pail into insignifigance. The pain I endure is like two games of Rugby back to back with NO endorphine release 24/7/365 for 6 years. Only God knows why I am made to endure such an unpleasant life. At least my kids and my wife can put a smile on my face. Sometimes I wish CFS was like a war and that sooner or later just like WW1 this war would be over.
