How many of you keep some sort of journal?

I keep a journal on MIcrosoft Word to help sort out my feelings and symptoms. I protect it with a password so no one will find it. I tried keeping a written diary but I found that that was terribly difficult to do with my fatigue so I switched to a computer journal and now I'm still very tired and don't want to do it but I can and I can write volumes of information since typing is so much better for conserving energy than writing. I'd love to write stories but I don't have that physical and or cognitive ability right now so I'll stick to journals. (And Dream Journals if anyone has ever made of these?)

I love my medhelp tracker and you can personalize your journal so only you or even just your friends can read it. Check mine out.
http://www.medhelp.org/user_tracke... It even has places where you can talk to friends, keep track of your meds... http://www.medhelp.org/personal_pa... Can you tell I am a Medhelp.com junkie?

I used to monitor my symptoms and how I felt only what I found was that they were everchanging with CFS. Plus some symptoms would come and go, some linger on, and others I would have daily. Like almost everyday I have a headache, muscle and joint pain, and an upset tummy and or nausea.
I couldnt find any significant pattern with any of my symptoms in general.

I'm not finding any correlations either but having that medhelp tracker allows me to bring my day to day stuff to my doctor, my lawyer AND I'll have when I have my SSD hearing. I used to journal in "word" but this is much easier to read and much more consistent/reliable (one has the same symptom options each day plus room for a journal.)
Mine is totally private and I don't use any of the other medhelp features, but I LOVE this "tracker"!

I find my journal has taught me a lot about my illness. I have a regular routine with it, and if I'm tired I don't write much. It's great for keeping track of things, and reviewing to see if I am going up or down hill.
I just use a notebook from the office supply store, not the nine by twelve, but the next size down. I have stacks of them now, and it's instructive to go back a year or two to see how I was doing. I write all sorts of things in it, whatever I want.
