I have been reading for the leg pain and CFS and I found this article. I am so excited. I have been taking Vitamin D for a long period of time but I didn't know that I was not taking enough and I started as of yesterday taking 3 times more of Vitamin D and double of calcium I am just so convinced with this article that I am sure my CFS, Fibro and leg pains( 60% already gone by taking vitaminE, magnesium, potassium, vitaminC and yoga) will be gone too. Ofcourse it will take time.
Here is the link: http://www.westonaprice.org/basicn... I wish every one here some relief in coming week and after that. There is toxin envolve with high doses of vitamin D , only when if you take 20,000 IU per day but 2,000 IU is recommended because people are taking only 400 IU that were recommended doses earlier but they were deficient in VitaminD (they didn't know)and were facing Depression like symptoms which have given alot of pain and miseries to our lives. Thanks so much! I will try to take some different dry fruits. I do not have a gall bladder so I already take a fat emulsifier ( Lecithin) which is alot of fat and I also take 1 tablespoon of coconut extra virgin oil / Almond oil( for my thyroid It is natural way to balance the thyroid harmonez) every other day, I take almonds and walnuts sometimes not regularly. I also cook in olive and coconut oil and I do some oil pulling every morning ( swishing a good essential oil in your mouth for 15 minutes and spit it after 15 minutes) which is done with oil and I am sure a little oil is absorbed with that too. Hey, That's alot of oil, I didn't know I was taking that much oil. With Lecithin I am doing ok.

Thanks, EP, for the advice about the fats. I didn't realize that, and will now eat/take a bit of some kind of fat with the D.

This was a great article! Thanks so much for sharing!
In May I actually started taking 200% of the daily dose of vitamin D in my daily vitamin (which I was finally able to stomach again after getting my gastritis under control), and noticed great improvement in my energy! I told my doctor about it and and he had me take an additional 200% so then I was taking 400% of the daily dose of vitamin D and feeling better. When I saw him for my next appt. in June I asked to be tested for vitamin D deficiency as well as B12. I found out my B12 was fine but my vitamin D was really low (and that was while I was taking 400% of the daily dose! (When my doctor found out I was so deficient, he said he wished he would have tested me a year ago when he first saw me!) Since then I have been taking the prescribed 50,000 IU once a week and have seen a remarkable difference--I continue to have increased energy, strength and stamina. It is wonderful!!! My doctor said that he is praying that the vitamin D pushes me over the hill to a complete recovery...I certainly hope so! Wishing improvement and good results for all of us! Definitely give vitamin D a try!
