Sometimes folks in our lives want to help, but we have trouble coming up with the specifics of what we need. Or sometimes - managing the help offered can be a full-time job in and of itself.
This website allows you to make a private community, for free. It lets you put up what you need, on what day...and invites the other people in your life to volunteer to help you out. So if you know you aren't going to be feeling up to making a meal on a day when you've had a bunch of appointments - you can ask someone to make it. If you need a ride to the doctor - you can ask for it, and use Google to put up the directions. This place is great for caretakers AND for sufferers. The community aspect means that you can include your friends, family, your church group, anyone you trust. The privacy means that you can share phone numbers. |
