Hoarding Haiku Here!

One thing I like to do when I need to find an activity to do or a way to distract myself when I am having pain is to think up haiku poems.

So I decided why not start a thread here in the fun and games for those of so inclined to haiku to haiku to their hearts content. We can hoard them here on this thread.

To write a haiku verse, all you need to do is compose 3 lines. The first line is 5 syllables lone. The 2nd line of the verse is 7 syllables long. Finally the 3rd line is like the first line in that it has 5 syllables.

There it is in a nutshell. If enough folks write a haiku poem (or poems) we van make a collection of haiku to explore for a pleasant diversion.

The haiku can be about any subject fit for readers of all ages. It can be funny, happy, sad, whatevr feelings you wish to explore.

Now haiku-doers... unite and build a collection of haiku for the other boards to envy if you dare.

This is your mission should you choose to accept it. Good luck!

" Haiku Title: Where is the sun?

It is spring I think,
Yet I have not seen much sun...
Please turn on the sun!

On the first spring day...
It snowed and blowed, made me cold
While I was dismayed

Waiting for the sun,
Damned thing, It is still sleeping
And I'm still waiting

--- Mia "
