" Here are my favorites:
1.) Be Joyful Always - 1 Thes 5:16
2.) Enjoy this Moment, For this Moment is your LIFE
3.) Life is not measured by the breathes we take; but by the moments that take our breath away (I just got this one for my Grandparents on a huge plaque for Christmas)
4.) There's always room for Jello (one of my funny favorites)

I'm sure I could come up with a TON more to share but I have not read all the posts - will try to catch up and post again :)

MERRY CHRISTMAS! "

" My all time favorite saying is the serenity prayer...
"God grant me the Serenity to accept the things i cannot change,Courage to change the things i can.And the wisdom to know the difference" This has been on my desk for 20 plus years.
When i get frustrated or Anxious I repeat to myself a mantra that goes....."I am healed in spirit and in mind"........ Saying it over and over helps when ever i feel like a panic is coming on.. keeps things from getting crazy.

In my kitchen i have a saying on a little plaque that was my Grannies............ It was her philosohpy........ "the hurriered i go the behinder i get"........ She took her time and did everything as near perfect as anyone could. I try to remember that when i get ahead of myself like i often do. "

" If you don't mind me joining in, I'll share one I've believed for years (and through A LOT of challenging life changes).

"Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it."

I guess it works for me because I don't have control over a lot of things that happen - chronic pain, painful relationships, children who through the years brought me immeasurable joy and distress by turns :O), divorce, job changes, etc. BUT I firmly believe that I get to choose whether to feel sorry for myself or whether to pick myself up, brush myself off and get busy creating the life I want. Shrugs. It works for me. "
