I fell very alone. I was found with CML in Jan. and cannot find anyone with this disease to talk to. I need someone to let me know what to expect and what the doctors wont tell you. I also found out that the Gleevec is very expensive and dont know how I can pay for this even with the insurance!!! Just would feel better to talk to someone who has been through this journey f...

Alright. It seems I am now pretty much out of options in getting our place fixed up or anything rebuilt.
Camp Hope, out of Frostburg, MD sent me a letter stating that we were being denied any assistance. Other places such as Hearts & Hands never responded at all. Habitat for Humanity shuffled me from county to county and even became irate at my continued pleas for assistance.

Oh boy today was so tough im on my pre op diet i was allowed to have a meal of my choice for my birthday which i did i was still being careful with what i ate. So when i went back on pre-op diet today it was so tough! Tomorrow i will go for a walk have my two meal replacements & my 150g of meat & steamed veggies as i have 9days to go! My sugery is on the 1st July.

Please pray for my mom & the many other people who have homes being threatened by fire in N. CA. A fire started this afternoon in Auburn. My mom is under mandatory evacuation. My step father went across the street to get their elderly neighbor out. He was in the backyard with a hose trying to put out a fire in his tree. MANY homes are threatened.
