Professor Michael Keating, from M.D. Anderson Cancer Centre, Houston Texas , came to our
Chronic Leukaemia Support Group on Wednesday 8th Oct . He is such a lovely caring person. He shared with us, his expert knowledge of CLL, & current research. I was able to have a good talk with him over lunch. It was an informative & relaxing day.1 Recommendation2 Comments -
On saturday my hubby & I took our young grandson to an animal farm. Nathan had a great time feeding the baby goats, lambs & milking a cow. His favourite animal he said was the fat pig with all her piglets. There were 8 in all. Nathan begged to take one of them home for his mum to cuddle, LOL. My daughter who is a hairdresser, came to see me today, she cut, colored & styled my hair. I felt like a new person. I felt great ! I love my life. I feel so blessed. Who would I be if I did not have canser? A mom, a wife, a writer, an athlete, a step mom, an environmental advocate, a hairdresser, a friend.
I have CLL,it does not have ME!
My next test is April 8th and I am super optomistic.
