I really wonder how I can be so niave? Am I so blind, dumb, or just plain unwilling to admit things to myself?

Just found out that the money I will make from SSDI is considered "too high"for government help on my rent. The money IS how much rent is in LA.

Its 20 days since Black Saturday.
Mum called earlier today and said it was the first day she has had to herself since the fires.

Our cat refused to be an inside cat - every time the door opened, she was out. Today she used up her ninth life trying to cross the street, just moments (apparently) before my children left for school. My oldest son found her - half way across the road. Thank you, wherever you are, to the kind lady who helped me get her off of the street.
