I feel so alone in all of this. My parents divorced when I was six, and my father moved in with the woman he had cheated on my mother with. After years of dealing with my feelings, and then finally building a solid relationship with her, she is now leaving my father. How can she do this? I never thought I would be dealing with divorce again. I live far away from my family and my boyfriend doesn't understand. He doesn't even seem to care. I need someone to understand.

yep.... i totally understand. but my dad married the bitch he cheated with.... and i haven't seen the asshole in over 12 years! but honestly live has always been better with out him anyways....
i'm sorry you are going thru this. i feel you pain. unfortunately, life for me has always been ONE parent. and every time i try to get mom to get another boyfriend (i encourage her to remarry one day) she shys away.... you should look on the bright side... at least your dad had someone with him around for this long.... mom has been alone all these years. none of her boyfreinds have lasted long enough.... divorce can really tear up a family and leave deep scars.... repeating it again can only do 2x the damage and hurt. have to spoke to him why this is happening? or talk to her about it? what are their reasons? can it be fixed??

my parents divorced when i was 9
same situation he remarried the woman who he was cheating with , i despised her , but after 6 years we have finally come together and accepted and forgave each other , sadly her cancer has brought us closer , she cant talk to my father about it. its like there divorced but still live together , becaus eright now she cant afford to live on her own . if your stepmom wants to still stay close , make sure you stick with it , if you guys have made it through all of the turmoil i'm sure you are strong enough to make it and pull through , and still have a great relationship . i trully hope that you figure this out , best wishes

I understand. My father married a woman shortly after my mother passed away, and we became very close. 10 years later when they divorced I was devastated. I know my situation is different, but loss of a parent figure is sad. Maybe you can find a therapist that can help?

You have been totally mucked about. I am so sorry for how crap you must be feeling through this, all I can say is you are in no way responsible and have some love for yourself you have been through a lot, make sure you are getting whatever you need to help you thrive, be it counselling or rest or good quality food to eat and plenty of fresh air and mental health rest, deal with you like you are traumatised you probably are, and let this lady go off as she is doing

hey u totally sound like the same thingi am going thru but i dont have my mom anymore she past away 2 wks ago to cncer. i also am 17 and prego and i just lost one 7months ago every one that reads will think wow she has problems i just thought having sex and getting prego would put my mmom and dad back togetther but it didnt.
