Hey do you know if you are waiting for the court day for the child custody thing can the kids dad still coming and see them? my ex has been telling me that i have to let him see her is the law i mean even though we have not gone to the court can he still come and see her or try to talk her out with out me?

ok if you are 29 it does not matter......if anything it would be up to your mom and her claiming it and filing for it but being so many years after you turn 18 she may just get a "soo sry you should have filed ummmmm like 20 years ago"! you personally will never get the money unless for some strange reason your mom does get it and gives it to you. Or if he owes back support and even still your mom has to give it to you. This is an issue between you mom and dad as far as money goes. the money is only owed to you mom not you....and that is if it is not to late which in you case i would be totally shocked if it were not to late..

i dont mean to sound so harsh but if your dad did not want anything with you what do you truly expect from him? you obviously were better off not knowing him and if anything learn the main lesson here and if you ever have a child do everything to support and parent you own child!

Myboys unless your mom filled for it no you can not get it. The time for collecting past due cs is 10 years. Sounds to me you just want pay back for him not being there.

first off how are you that your father wanted to do with you.are you completely sure about this have you ever spoke with your father issue, and lets be real a little bit. your 29 years old, OK so what are you doing looking for money at 29. listen dad wasn't in my life for 36 years I'm 38 now he has choose to come into my life just these last couple of years and from time to time when things get hard I felt the same way you do but you know what it doesn't matter money is not the root to happiness. it only causes pain not only to your father but to everyone involved trust me I know maybe you should try to get to know him a little. find out the whole story and then make a decision as to wether you want him in your life or not.

IT 'S NOT ABOUT THE MONEY ITS ABOUT MAKING HIM PAY FOR HIS CRAP!!! IF MOM DID GET THE MONEY I DON'T WANT IT I WOULD TELL HER TO GIVE IT TO MY "DADDY" TO GET WHATEVER HE WANTS BEING HE TOOK CARE OF ME FOR 18YRS.
