Approximately once a month I see a patient who has previously had the chicken pox (varicella) vaccine and develops a "breakthrough" infection...just a few lesions with minor symptoms. Any parents out want to discuss what they've seen with their children?

" My son, niece and nephews never had the chicken pox, thank God (and vaccinations). However, I had chicken pox 4 times by the time I turned 29. Woohoo. I had the first three cases before I was 5. All very well-documented and much lamented, lol. I am currently looking forward to having shingles in about 10 or 20 years. "

" I am 22 years old and have the chicken pox 7 times.

Twice in kindergarten, then again in first grade and third grade. That makes four, but in high school, I got them again twice my freshman and then once again as a sophomore.

I started working with kids about then at 16, and haven't had them since.

I have no skin immunity. I had to go the hospital twice for MRSA abcesses. "

" I have five children who all have had chicken pox but my youngest who had chicken pox last year is currently suffering with a severe dose , every part of her body is covered blisters and she is feeling very unwell ,I am hoping this will be her last time as it is most unpleasant.I would also like to add that she is autistic and part of this condition is severe sensitivity of the skin "

I'm a 40 year old woman who will avoid Doctors offices and clinics and will only go to emergency if I'm dead at this time of year because every time I'm around kids with CP two weeks later I get it I've had them 4 times in four years and no one believes you until they get the lab results back and by that time you can't take anything too help.
Why don't Doctors believe you can get (((CP))) more than once and why ME
