I hope to catch up with most of you today. I been gone for a week up north (Honor Michigan) to attend my grandpa's funeral. He passed away last tuesday at home with the hospice nurse, his wife (my grandma) my father and mother by his side touching him and telling him it was okay to go and they love him. He was 86.

I was up all night and most of the morning waiting for the doc to call that was going to do the surgery on Nick's toe. The nurses finally found out what time the surgery was scheduled for - 2:00 PM. Just wanted to let you know, Ashlee's cancer is back and with a vengeance. It is near her heart and lungs. We have no idea the game plane but Children's hospital will have a meeting on this weds to decide what to do next. I thought we were so upset the first time, it doesn't compare to this time. I have an update on Ashlee and her appointment today with many doctors at Childrens Hospital. As of now she goes into the hospital next week to get that port put back in. Wasn't long ago she was so happy to get it out and thought the end of the cancer and it was closing. To put it back in is crushing. Anyway, she will start a 5 day chemo every 4 weeks. Thank you all so much for all your prayers for Ashlee. I wanted to let you know the doctors have done all they can. She is on Morphine 24 hours and oxygen.
