Hello. Im new here. My 2 year old daughter Kaylee was diagnosed with High-risk ALL Leukemia in July 2008. She went into remission in early September. She is currently taking 6MP, and ARAC at home. She has been so cranky, and screaming all the time. Its like shes on steriods again, but shes not. does anyone know if those chemo's can cause crankiness like this. I know shes 2, so that has a lot to do with it, but its way worse. She wont even let me talk to her other siblings without screaming, and she wont listen to me or her dad at all. Please someone help!

" my daughter is 2 aswell and is having chemo for 2 benign brain tumours that are threatening to blind her. She is also prone to explosive outbursts of rage which i think aren't just due to her age. She has the implanted vascoport in her chest to administer the treatment, and bed wet's the same evening although is dry on any other night when the chemo hasn't been given during the day. she has a disorder that causes tumours to develop anywhere in her body. i think chemo can take a big toll on a toddler's patience. i imagine its annoying having dr's and nurse's constantly poking and prodding. my daughter has developed a terrible temper and has me in tears mloszt days because she is so hard to calm down. i suppose if she was older she would be able to understand more and wouldn't be so cranky.
