i'm 22 with cmt! i'd love to talk sometime!

Not in my 20's anymore (38) but made it through the Army in my early 20's with CMT. It was mild when I was younger and is getting worst but I still get along ok. Feel free to give me a shout anytime.

Diagnosed at 28 years old. Yeah it's really hard to find people near my home that are like me. No support groups available, but oh well.:) I have found it's really hard for people in gerenal/even dr. to understand what you go through or how it effects daily life. I have had symptoms for the last 7 months and they are getting progressivly worse. What symptoms do yall experience?

I have CMT and my brothers do also they're older. I'm 24 and have it lately it hasn't been bad except spraining one ankle after the other the year before last year...lol.

i am 20 and i too have CMT. I have leg cramps that drive me awake at night as well as high arches in my feet and foot drop. i am feeling the loss of muscle in my hands. if you would like to talk, i am here for you.

I am 29 with CMT type 1. I would love to talk to someone who is also experiencing the struggles of having this disease. I know exactly how it feels to think about your legs everyday, all day. Sometimes if I walk too long, my feet feel like bricks.

I'm nearly 16 lol so not quite in my 20's, but I have CMT. I'm willing to talk if you want. My cmt is pretty far advanced. My feet are completely twisted where it is difficult to walk, I've had one unsuccessful surgery and one that has my right foot straight right now. I have almost every symptom, even the ones you aren't supposed to have later in life. Lol so I know what you all are going through.

I am 31 now but have had CMT since I was 15. WOuld love to talk to others on here. Haven't found many around me that know of it or can understand what I have dealt with!
