i dont understand, i have had high risk hpv for the past 4 years with normal paps. If hpv can be treated easily when early detected, why are so many young people getting cervical cancer?

I don't know. my cervical cancer was non hpv related. it does seem that younger and yournger occurances are happening

Pap tests normally show cell abnormalities which could relate to HPV. If HPV is suspected, an HPV test is then done.
