Hello...

I got my results from a follow up smear test today and they have referred me for a colposcopy. I have to ring up and make an appointment tomorrow so I have no idea what the future holds for me as yet and am probably (or more to the point hopefully) jumping the gun. Doesn't stop me from being absolutely petrified though! I guess I'm just looking for a bit of support right now. Being away from home doesn't help (I go home next week) and also being in a new relationship (six weeks!!) is a bit nerve wracking to say the least, but I'm fairly confident he'll be OK with it all...

" its scary as i was in ur boat. basically with the colposcopy they take a magnified look at the abnormal area on ur cervix and take a biopsy if need be. ive had my abnormal cells return several times and now i finally had a good pap and im 8 months prego. hang in there and i will pray for u. all will be okay. "

" I still haven't gone for the colposcopy -haven't been to the doctor since I suppose two months after my baby was born (16 months ago). I was supposed to get a colposcopy but have abandoned it and any future appointments.
