I'm posting for my fiance's mother. She is a heavy smoker and sexually active, also she is turning 40 in November. Just yesterday she was having sex and she bled, there was blood EVERYWHERE...she seems tired and really sick, she just threw up about an hour ago. I don't know much else, but I did some research, now I just question whether it could be cervical cancer or not. We do intend to take her to the hospital when Andrea gets off work. However, she has no medical insurance or anything, so I don't know how that's going to go, but I am going to ask the doctor to give her a pap smear...

" the best thing you can do is to go to the doctor. Insurance and such is such an issue I know. The unknown is very scary, and only testing and a professional help can say what it is.

What part of Texas? Being from texas, where I was raised there was clinics and such that offered lower cost or free health care. especially womens clinincs.

I have not lived in Texas for a number of years so I don't know the system anymore.

I would search the internet on such topics.

My prayers are with you and your family. Please feel free to keep asking questions and seseeking info and support. Those are very healthy steps and means of coping.

And, I would say, dont let her go alone, make sure someone is with her at appt. to be listening with more objective ears. "

" I don't live in Texas anymore, I'm in Indiana with my fiance. Thanks for your advice, I have been searching around on the internet. I did say that Andrea and I (my fiance) will be taking her mom to the hospital, we don't want her to be on her own right now. "
