I have a family history just ridden with female cancers, every woman in my family by the age of 45 has had it.. do I have cancer? did I wait to long for my pap? has it spread? Its almost as if "I know" i have it... how many of you that have had it just "knew" they had it? Posted on 08/06/09, 11:08 am |

Try not to jump ahead, Deb. You'll know soon enough what you're dealing with. Remember, there are many cervical abnormalities that can be treated and totally cured. Some are pre-cancerous and not invasive. I hope that this scare will be a reminder to keep up with your Pap smears and examinations - so very important to prevent what you're worrying about. I wish you the very best and hope that you'll let us know here on Daily Strength the outcome. God bless.

Hi Deb .... hang in there and wait for results honey as you just never know ..... could be precancerous and that is lil less invasive ..... keep those appts from now on none of us like them but they are important honey ..... had couple friends that had precancerous and they were treated and are doing fine .... I found that writing feelings down and praying helped me out .... just found this site this year and wish I had found it years ago .... sending you hugs!!!
