hi ladies...
in aug of last yr i had surgery to remove stage 4 pre cervical cancer due to hpv. three months later my follow up pap came back abnormal. dr. did a colposcopy and said it was stage 1-2 and he was hoping my body could just fight it off. three months later my pap came back clean!!!! :) currently im pregnant and im fearful that this all could pop back up sometime in the future. what are the odds? anyone else experience this? thanks to all u wonderful and strong ladies!

I agree that to keep getting regular check ups is key.

My cervical cancer was nonhpv related. but it was caught because I was receiving reg paps. they had been normal and then last year my regular pap came up Cancer! but with that, it was caught early so even though it was an aggressive form, this month I actually celebrated baing one year cancer free!

Early detection really did save my life.

and I get tested now every 4 months.
