Hi ladies...my name is erin and im new to this group...here's a little bit of my story..
i was in an extremely abusive relationship where my bf cheated on me several times. although he wont admit to it, i know he did. i had my last shot of guardasil in Dec. 2007. Right now im in a wonderful and healthy relationship with a great guy. Before I started this relationship I was tested to make sure my ex didnt give me ne thing i could pass along to anyone. everything came back normal. in deb 2008 we found out we were expecting out first. in april we lost our little one at 10 wks. in june i had my first abnormal pap. had a colposcopy in july and it came back as stage like 3-4 pre-cancer. had leep done in aug. and had another abnormal pap in nov. theres a new spot now that is a like stage 2...im in desperate need of help, support, advice...anything!! we have been trying to have another baby ever since my surgery in aug and nothing... Looks like you're following through as you should with precancerous dysplasia, having the LEEP in Aug. and then follow-up in Nov. As you know, it's very important to have regular follow-up for cervical dysplasia. I would expect that you'd want to get this under control before trying to conceive again, fully understanding your great loss with your miscarriage.

hi erin & welcome! I am so sorry for everything you've gone through. I had a miscarriage as well and of course cerv. can. My heart really goes out to you. There is hope, though. I do have 2 wonderful sons!
One thing you can do is to try & keep your stress down - I know it's easier said than done, but it does help. Like Queenie said keep up with your checkups to keep an eye on this. If you're having abnormal paps due to HPV other things that help you to rid your body of the HPV besides low stress is no smoking, and taking vitB & vitC and folic acid as well. Also, the guardasil shot only protects against a cpl of the zillion strains of hpv. Maybe try to get this under contol b4 trying to get pregnant b/c that's probably adding to your stress as well. Just a thought. Hang in there. You're not alone. Take care & hugs.
