Hello all.
I am 23 years old, and let me start off by saying that I am under a tremendous amount of stress each day and if I do end up having some late staged cancer – I don’t think I’ll make it through it. I’m so worn out, and have so many different things going on with my body, that I honestly don’t know what to believe anymore.
So, here’s my story – I gave birth to my beautiful daughter, March 16th, 2011 – At my first visit while pregnant, I had an Abnormal Pap – And Colposcopy- which the Dr. never mentioned Cancer afterwards, saying that “birthing” my daughter would push the abnormal cells out – Which it must’ve because at my 6wk apt after the birth of my daughter, I call and they said everything was “normal”.
Well… I don’t feel very normal ,and haven’t since.
I have constant vaginal discharge, with a variety of types from watery to white to clear, to mucus-like-
It’s so obnoxious –and I’ve seen a few (non ob-gyn) docs within this past year and no one can figure it out, from saying “It’s normal” to “Chronic BV – Eat more yougurt”
Well – That’s not all. I’ve always suffered from depression, and stress-related ailments so it’s hard to know whats real right now. I feel tired most always, lacking energy. Feeling out of breath- And since the birth I’ve had a pretty elevated pulse rate of 90-130 at rest. And I’ve seen a cardiologist and they say its “normal”.
But on the cervical cancer signs of things –In the last 3 months, I’ve “spotted” brown between each period, experienced pelvic pain or “a inflamed feeling” pressure….I’ve had bad, horrible leg pains that shoot all the way down to my foot. And blood-tinged discharge here and there on top of the HEAVY discharge I’m already used to.
It’s kind of like a cramp, and then I feel the discharge come.

SO, I have no insurance (Support a house of 3 by myself on my income alone)
I went to the Health Dept last week and she said I have Cervicitis with white blood cells, which is caused by an STD- however, I haven’t even had sex in months because of all these issues. My sex life is ruined, completely – SO I don’t see how that is even possible?
Plus – these symptoms are on-going…I received the shot/antibiotics and 4 days later (Today) still having the issues so apparently it’s not cured, whatever it is.

On top of that, Ive had blurred vision, two hard swollen immobile lymph nodes under my jaw (They haven’t grown since I’ve noticed them and I do have impacted wisdom teeth growing sideways so maybe that’s causing them)

Most the time, ER docs laugh at me and say it’s not possible for me to have cancer, but I mean…what else is this? It’s running my life. I have had MULTIPLE “pelvic exams” in the last year…Last PAP was May 2011 so a little over a year ago –
Please – Tell me , what do you guys think? And If I do have cervical cancer, given my symptoms, I’m probably in the late stage – meaning I’ll most likely die? I saw the survival rate is low in late stages and I have so many symptoms, I’m really very afraid.

" I also wanted to mention that I'm 5'2 and 103 pounds which the nurse at the health dept said was underweight, I've always been small - But I do feel like I've maybe dropped a few in the last year. "

" Scream, it does not sound like you have cervical cancer. Cervical cancer is not hard to diagnose. My daughter had to have an emergency LEEP done in 2010 and afterwards another colposcopy. They discovered abnormal pap at her first ever pap smear. She had another pap this month and it was abnormal too. Now she's due for a colposcopy on the 10th of next month. It sounds like you are under a tremendous amount of stress which could be causing your symptoms. I have chronic BV and it's just horrible. Sometimes I go in remission for months and it flares up again for no apparent reason. Be encouraged. As much as you've been to the doctors, they would have found cancer at this point. "

" Hi,
Your story sounds like mine 15 years ago when I had my last child, OMG as time went on, and I got sicker and sicker, I was told I had a thyroid problem, toxic shock syndrom, pnuemonia, cervical cancer, lung problems lupis, and sepsis. It was not fun! no one seemed to hear me, one doctor even did a sweep with his fingers like doing magic, and said poof your better! I was so sick I almost let myself go ahead and die.
First try to calm down and let the stress roll off a little, the stress itself makes you sick. Take this one day at a time. Is there any doctor that was decent to you? Do you have anyone to help you with your family? Please feel free to talk to me anytime! Im not a Dr. but I think I've been where you are. have hope! mijken "
