I've been bleeding for the past month heavy I will stop for a few days then have sex and start bleeding during or right after. I went to the er to see if it was my bleeding disorder but my testing came back fine. The er doctor told me so blunt you need to see a obgyn you more than likley have Cervical cancer but I don't understand I've gotten the series of shots for HPV I know that doesnt stop all types of cervical cancer. I got a pap 3 to 4 months ago and everything came back fine could it have progressed that fast???

" I would suggest that you not delay making the appointment with the gynecologist. Bleeding between periods and after intercourse is not normal and needs to be followed up promptly regardless of your past normal Pap. The ER doctor was blunt, but heed his advice nevertheless. If it's nothing serious, you'll be reassured; if it is, you'll have it treated so that you can get on with your life. "

" Briana, Queenie is absolutely right. I know that you're scared, but try to see your gynocologist asap. The sooner you get the answer the better for you. Take care Brianna. "

" I would also suggest making an appointment asap. For me, my cervical cancer was non-hpv related.

All my life I had normal paps and then in april of 2008 I went in for my regular yearly and it was stage III adenocarcinoma.

That said, that doesn't mean that is what is ahppening.

I have been having some sever problems lately (not recurring cacncer) but Queenie gave me some great words of wisdom that I must always keep in mind.

The unknow is the hardest of all. prompt appt with the doctor to get it medically checked out, is really the only way to gain knowledge and knowledge helps ease the stress and worry.

I hope I paraphrased okay queenie. tha nk you, freedom

my prayers are with you, I hpe you will get back to the doctor asap. and be a advocate for yourself. don't let doctors intimidate you. "
