" You mentioned in your message that you've been referred to an oncologist and have an appointment. I'm sure the doctor will have answers for you soon. I'd suggest making a list of questions you may have when you go for your appointment, and be sure to have him/her explain everything to your satisfaction before you leave. It's helpful too to take someone with you to listen because, when we're very anxious, it's hard to grasp everything that's being said. A high grade Pap is concerning, but there isn't enough information to say to what extent. Keep in touch and let me know if I can be of help. There are many good, caring women on this site who have been through so much and will be happy to share their experiences as well. God bless. "

" How are you doing with all this? Waiting is the hardest, isn't it? And not knowing? Once you see the oncologist and have a plan, you'll feel more in control and somewhat better. Keep in touch, pinaygirl.

" I would agree with everything Queenie has written, and as per recent experience with me, I would say, to make sure to take someone with you if at all possible. My last appointment I went alone and it was a disaster. Different circumstances but i could have used a second person to help me speak up when the doctor rushed me out the door. I felt horrible and frustrated and scared and etc. and I know now, don't do it alone! There is just no reason too. Aslo, writing things down is very very helpful for me as I tend to forget a lot. my prayers are with you. "
