I really didn't have any pain. Just a little tenderness. Really no bleeding either, but everyone is different. Your cervix will heal. Don't be afraid to ask your doc any ?'s you may have. Take care and hugs.

My leap procedure was as an outpaient in the doctors office. I just had some cramps and a little bleeding when it ws over. You should not be feeling pain in 3 weeks from now. Good luck with your future appts.

glad to hear things went well..I am getting my Leep done tomorrow,but wont be under anesthesia, just outpatient at the doctor. Keep in touch as to how you are doing!!!

Good luck with your procedure. It's not that bad, and just remember it might save your life! I only had pain for a couple of hours after the procedure. Since then, I haven't had any pain. You will have some smelly discharge and blood, but that's it. I hope everything goes smooth and do let us know how you're doing! *hugs*

THANKS!! I CAN HANDLE THAT. I WAS ONE WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO GET THIS DONE 8 MONTHS AGO,BUT REALIZE NOW THAT THEY LONGER I WAIT, THE MORE DANGEROUS! IT TOOK ME AWHILE TO LEARN,BUT I HAVE. THANKS FOR THE ADVICE AND SUPPORT, IT HELPS TAKE AWAY ALOT OF MY ANXIETY ABOUT THE PROCEDURE. I WILL MAKE SURE AND KEEP EVERYONE UPDATED. YOU ARE ALL WONDERFUL!!!!

I went to the mall with my Mother after having my LEEP done. I know that everyone is different, but the biopsies hurt worse for me than the LEEP did.
Also I had a full term baby boy after having the LEEP done as well. : )
