Had a LEEP done yesterday

Yesterday morning, I had my LEEP procedure. I was out of it for the entire day due to anesthesia. I have a follow up with my Gyn in 3 weeks. What should I expect? I'm not in pain now, but will I be? Will I bleed a lot? Will my cervix grow back to normal? What happens now?

" I really didn't have any pain. Just a little tenderness. Really no bleeding either, but everyone is different. Your cervix will heal. Don't be afraid to ask your doc any ?'s you may have. Take care and hugs. "

" Thank you everyone for your warm wishes! *hugs*

Rachel,

Good luck with your procedure. It's not that bad, and just remember it might save your life! I only had pain for a couple of hours after the procedure. Since then, I haven't had any pain. You will have some smelly discharge and blood, but that's it. I hope everything goes smooth and do let us know how you're doing! *hugs*

" I went to the mall with my Mother after having my LEEP done. I know that everyone is different, but the biopsies hurt worse for me than the LEEP did.
Also I had a full term baby boy after having the LEEP done as well. : ) "
