You most likely have lymphedema. This happened to me after radical hysterectomy - in both legs. It happens when the lymph system is compromised from removal of lymph nodes and/or disruption of the lymphatic flow. Let your doctor know about the swelling and, if this is the reason, get prompt care by a certified MLD (manual lymph drainage)therapist. thanks pat i'll find out friday at the docs..i have been overdoing it alot hope thats all it is but if not ..i've gotten thru the surgery and the cancers out so i'll get thru this ..thanks again
