Roughly 10 years ago I had an irregular pap and was diagnosed with cervical dysplashia. I underwent a LEEP and have had normal paps since. I have also had two more children. A month ago I had my annual visit. My doctor knew I wasn't going to have a normal pap just by viewing my cervix, but wanted to wait for the results. After the results came back, she performed a biopsy and decided at that point to schedule a LEEP for 9/30. As she said, its easier to cancel than schedule a procedure, so she didn't want to wait for the biopsy results. However, if my test comes back as cancer, it procedure will be canceled and I will be referred to an oncologist. Any thoughts?

" Just wanted to update. Actually my doctors office called yesterday afternoon and asked me to come in this morning to get my biopsy results. I have never had a doctor have me come in for good news. "
