" Many abnormal Paps are not cervical cancer; however, follow-up on anything abnormal is necessary. Knowledge is power and allays anxiety. Try to set your fears aside (not easy, I know) and move ahead with your appointment for your health. Here at this site, we've all been through the waiting & wondering, and you will find support from others. God bless. "

" Please, please keep your appointment. As was said, abnormal PAPs do not mean cancer, but in my case, I had a "normal" PAP and found after months later, I did have cancer. Better safe than sorry. Follow=up and don't be afraid to question your doctor. Good luck!! "
