I work for Footsteps Foundation. It is a charity providing physio for disabled children. I wanted to come on here to discuss it as the therapy is amazing and has produced amazing results in the children. Some children come to us not able to sit up, and three weeks later can sit up and play independently. Other children have taken their first steps having been told they will never be able to walk.

Footsteps is a unique and dynamic physiotherapy centre in Oxford, UK, providing individual programmes for children and young adults with neuro-motor disorders to develop and maximise their physical abilities. It's intensive physio - 3 weeks at a time, for 2 or 3 hours a day. The kids love it as well because it is made fun with games. We have a piece of equipment called the spider too which allows them to experience independent movement by being attached to elastic ropes. You must see our website if you think your child needs extra physio: www.footsteps.ltd.uk we can also provide grants to come to Footsteps, through www.footstepsfoundation.com
