Does anyone else get tremors/random muscle spasms?

I think this might be related to my CP because they only happen in my legs (I have spastic diplegia so my arms are affected very little, if at all). It seems like one muscle in my leg will "jump" for a few seconds, and then it goes away...but then the shaking moves down my legs, to a new spot. The spasms don't usually hurt, but they are annoying when I'm trying to concentrate on something or fall asleep.

Also, when I flex my ankle quickly, especially on my right foot (which is my worse side), it flexes and relaxes uncontrollably, over and over again, and sometimes cramps up.

I notice, too, that when I try to abduct my knees (push them outwards), my whole leg shakes. Maybe this is related to muscle weakness or something, I don't know...my PT can't explain it...he said maybe it's a "mixed up signal" or something? One day earlier this year, my knees wouldn't stop shaking like this, even when I was just sitting or lying down. I took some magnesium and had a hot bath and the shaking subsided after about a day or so, but we were never able to explain why it happened. :/

It's not a huge problem or anything, but it can be bothersome at times, and it seems like it's been happening more lately. I was just curious if any of you have had similar experiences.

" I was told that I have them when I'm sleeping. I have gone for a sleep study but haven't gotten the results yet. I'll let you know what the Dr says. "
