" lf you can prove the circumstances by which Mom got kid have been neutralized then you can request a custody hearing. Take the time to make sure all is well. This is a very emotional issue, BUT you will prolly make a better case if you dont let emotions rule GL
God Bless "

" I agree with chipchip. You will have to prove to the courts that you are fit and well to look after your child and that whatever problems you had at the time are now truly well behind you. It can be done, you need to remain strong and level headed and as chipchip said make sure your emotions don't get in the way. Good luck. "

" If the court had nothing to do with having you daughter put in you mom care, and you are deemed a fit parent. then it should not be too hard to have something done . . You should at least be able to see your daughter. Get a lawyer.
.But these question must be answered if you go to court . Depending on what you are asking for , custody or visitation rights.
1.What was the reason for putting your child in your mom's care in the first place ?
2.Do you live on your own ?
3.Can you care for your daughter?
4.Are you employed?
5.Do you have any other problems that would maye you seen as unfit as a parent. such as a drug use problem or history of any criminal activity or arrest. ?
6. Have you ever abused your child?
7.Do you live in a place that is safe for a child to live .
8. Are you mentally stable?
10. Are you married.
9. What was your age when you had your baby.
10.What is your age now?
11. Do you know and or have contact with the baby's father.
12. What were the circumstances of your pregnancy
13 would the child be in any danger if put in your care or if the child had visits from you.
14 How would having visits from you effect the child at this time and age.
15.Does your child have any medical problems that requires any special care that you would not be able to give to her.
16 , Where do you live?
17 .What is your mental status?
18 .What is your education level?.
There may be many other questions you will have to provide an answer to.

I am not asking these questions. They are just question you must answer and many more in a court .
You will need a lawyer "
