I don't know why I am feeling the way I do. I have extreme pain in my stomach, it feels like a bomb about to go off. I haven't felt so bad ever. It started last night. I don't know if I have Celiac Disease, nor does my Dr. for that matter. He believes I have it since my intestinal lining is shot. It is shot enough I guess to the point of the dr asking if I have a will yet. I am 25.... thanks doc, but seriously, he said considering he did not see my intestines looking the way they do during my colonoscopy in January and now things are appearing differently, he doesn't know how fast they are deteriorating. So I am sitting here playing the guessing game. 2nd opinion anyone? I can barely sleep. It hurts like crazy. At this point, I am almost wishing I was dead, at least the pain would be gone...

what did you eat roughly 36 hours before this started? (I know, it's hard enought to remember what you ate for breakfast this morning...and it was days ago, but think about it) some foods can certainly affect you faster, but the majority of typical food poisonings takes roughly 36 hours... not saying that you do or don't have celiac... but celiacs are more susceptible to intestinal parasites and bacteria than the norm... for example, years ago, one Thurs night, my bf and I went out for raw clams and drinks, the next night, we went out with other friends and had seafood again. In the middle of the night we were violently ill. we really thought it was from Friday's dinner, but my MD said no, not likely, what did you eat the night before... raw clams... now my bf, with a healthy immune system was well in about 10 days, me with celiac, it took 7 months to recuperate from that "dinner" and I lost my ability to digest raw shellfish permanently.
If you are reducing/eliminating gluten consumption already, did you have any prior to getting sicker? when you eliminate it and then reconsume it, the result is usually more extreme than if you had never stopped... It's pretty clear that your body has "hit a wall" and you need to get lots of rest and healthy detoxifying food - I really hope you feel better soon... Hugs*
