the title says it all
Complete recovery of intestinal mucosa occurs very rarely in adult coeliac patients despite adherence to gluten-free diet http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed... Posted on 06/23/09, 09:06 am |

catlovesdi,
you are so RIGHT! Most people will not believe you or they are so overwhelmed by the complications of multiple health and multiple dietary issues. My list of health problems is more than what most can deal with unless they live with multiple issues themselves. Then it's no big deal and comradely/support comes into play along with the relief that "I'm not the only one" feelings are discussed too. AnimalHeadbutts

"gluten intolerance can be temporary and not CD"
There is a disease called Tropical Sprue. This is temporary. It is an infection that causes symptoms similar to CD. Celiac Disease is not temporary. It is permanent. Most celiac's are not even aware that someone can have similar symptoms yet fail to have full blown CD.
