The only time I saw hard liquor in the house when I was growing up was at Christmastime. There were no bars that sold mixed drinks in my hometown in the early 1950s. Only Honkytonks that served beer. As most of you know, I lost my job in December and got another one in January. But, what you didn't know was that shortly before I lost my job, I dicided to grow a full beard. And I did.
