Cataract & Eye turning inward

I have just been diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes. I am 47. Left eye is worse then right. My question is this --- has anyone had their eye(s) turn inward because of the poor vision cuased by cataracts? I have been given different views by eye docs as to whether cataract surgery will help it. My doc wants me to wait until my vision deteriorates further before doing surgery. I am frustrated by the cloudy, fuzzy view and the eye turning inwards too! Glasses have not helped the left eye! Most of the time I close it and use my right one! Thank you.
