I just had cataract surgery with lens replacement on Monday. Today (Wed), the whites of my eye is blood red and it appears that the eye is filled with goo (this is the best technical term I can come up with). That side of my face is swollen too. Is all of this normal after surgery??

The doc's office was dismissive when I called, but I know this isn't normal. I go to see them on Monday thankfully.

ScottishKrumpet; you are right. If a Dr doesn't treat you well, find one that does.
