Cataract???

I was told that I have a cataract in my right eye but...from what I have been reading it is a constant problem. I have this issue that when I get a headache (only on oneside and lasts for days) and the throbbing starts the vision gets worse. I also ahve like a little black dot in my eye (looks like a bullseye sometimes) but not everyday. Sometimes I have like a double vision, I see one object and then there is a shadow above it. Not always!

I am not sure if I explained well enough for help.

" Hi bajaturtle,

I'm not sure I understand what your question is.

If you are questioning why your vision may be different from time to time... Perhaps your environment is changing, you could be seeing differently from being in a lighted area as opposed to a darkened area. Your vision could also be effected by your mental or physical state. It is much easier to "ignore" vision problems when you are feeling well, and if you aren't feeling well, your vision problems can get exagerated.

Not sure if that makes much sense, or if it is even what you are asking about...

Later,
Jeff "

" your vision can change due to other medical problems. I'm diabetic, and I do notice my vision is sharper when my "glucose readings/sugar levels" are within normal. When my sugars are high, I can tell by my vision.

Have you had a vision test done lately?
some eye problems have an easy fix. If they're ignored can lead to more serious situations. A couple years ago, I was having double vision, decided to go see my opthomologist. It turned out I had an eye infection more of an "eyelid infection" I was given an ointment. The double vision was gone in a matter of days. "
