Advice:
Should I call doctor?

I have had non-stop pain since having cortisone shots on Friday. It's now thursday and I have constant pain, sometimes bearable and sometimes very unbearable. I take hydrocodone for pain, but that doesn't really do much. I have an appointment on 6/30 for follow up, but should I call today and tell him that I am just in so much pain? Even if I do get to see him earlier than Tuesday, what will he do?
thanks for listening.

" Hi....sorry your feeling bad. I'm surprised that the cortizone shots didn't help. I had them for heel spurs and it was the best thing I could have done. Your on pain medication, so I don't know what else the doctor would do if you called him, but a phone call sure can't hurt any. Maybe ice and elevating your hands can help.
I really wish you a better day today! "
